The “Iwate Earthquake Tsunami Archive” is a collection of more than 200,000 materials that have been gathered together with the cooperation of numerous municipalities and disaster prevention organizations in Iwate prefecture. Due to proprietary restrictions, access to three prefectural newspapers - Iwate Nippo, Tokai Shimpo, and Kamaishi Shimbun – is not provided through the JDA. 「いわて震災津波アーカイブ」では、県内の市町村や防災関係機関を始め、多くの皆様に御協力いただき、全体で20万点を超える震災津波関連資料を収集し公開しております。著作権の関係により、県内新聞社３社（岩手日報社、東海新報社、釜石新聞社）はJDAでは閲覧できません。新聞閲覧の際は、直接「いわて震災津波アーカイブ」をご覧ください。
